I installed this lock yesterday and it was fine for 24 hours. Today it keeps playing a little tune, sometimes an hour or so goes by without, but sometimes it's playing it 20 seconds apart.
It's pretty annoying.
Any ideas on how to fix it or should I return it?
Great device! What if the battery was empty bat? How would you open the door if its already locked ? Is there a reminder or a warning that the battery was low bat or need to change the battery?
How weather resistant is this lock? Can they be used as front door to a house without a hood over the door?

Nope this thing looks so tacky. Do they not have normal deadbolts in Korea? I mean I guess I don't see the purpose of this except to maybe add an additional layer of security to an existing deadbolt or maybe use it for an interior door but one good kick and this thing would fly off the door.

The frame attachment with 6 screws showing looks . cheap and nasty!You'd think theyd have had a cover for that section to hide the screws
Can i use rechargeable battery?
It is called forstner drill bit. The interior side looks awful and not very strong.. I think a couple of stiff shoulder strikes would dislodge those screws especially if you over tightened them to begin with. I would use that lock on a garden shed not my front door. If you decide you do not like that lock you are going to have to fill that hole and turn a stain grade door in to a paint grade one.
